Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Arkwork Cards (“Arkwork,” “we,” “us”), a service that generates personalized appreciation cards using artificial intelligence. By using Arkwork, you agree to these Terms and our Community Guidelines.

1. What Arkwork does

You provide a recipient's name, role, and a short written appreciation, optionally along with a photo. Arkwork uses that information to generate a personalized card image and a suggested social caption. A free, preview-quality card is always available; a full-resolution, print-ready version is available as a one-time paid unlock.

2. Your responsibilities

By submitting content to Arkwork, you confirm that:

• The information you provide about the recipient is accurate to the best of your knowledge and submitted in good faith.
• If you upload a photo, you have the right to use it and to have it processed by OpenAI for the purpose of creating the card.
• If you choose to share a card publicly, you have the right to share the content you upload, and your submission complies with our Community Guidelines.
• Your submission follows our Community Guidelines, and does not contain content that is harassing, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise unlawful.
• You will not attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse the free tier, or interfere with the service's operation.

We may remove content or suspend access for submissions that violate these responsibilities, at our discretion. See Community Guidelines for what's and isn't allowed, and Safety & Moderation for how enforcement actually works today.

3. AI-generated content

Card images, captions, and hashtags are generated by artificial intelligence based on the information you provide. AI-generated content can be imprecise or, in rare cases, inaccurate. See our AI Disclosure for details on how generation works and its limitations.

4. Content review and enforcement

Arkwork may refuse, suspend, or remove content that violates these Terms of Service or the Community Guidelines. See Community Guidelines for what's and isn't allowed, and Safety & Moderation for how that review actually works today.

5. Payments

The full-resolution HD unlock is a one-time purchase processed securely through Stripe. Arkwork does not store your payment card details. Prices are shown before purchase; any discount offered is applied automatically and reflected in the price you're charged. Because HD unlocks deliver a digital file immediately upon generation, purchases are generally final; if something went wrong with your order, contact us and we'll make it right.

6. Data retention

Uploaded photos and generated card images are automatically deleted a fixed number of hours after creation. If you choose to share a card publicly, that public copy remains available for a longer, fixed period before it too is automatically deleted. See our Privacy Policy for exact retention periods.

7. Ownership

You retain the right to use the card you create for personal, non-commercial purposes, including sharing it with the recipient and on social media. Arkwork retains the underlying technology, templates, and branding.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Arkwork is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and generated content is not reviewed by a human before it's shown to you. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arkwork's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Arkwork after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
